Greg Balentine
General Manager

As the General Manager for Beyond Controls. Mr. Balentine has been active in the automation market for over 20 years, specializing in building automation Construction and Retrofit for the last 17 years in 2000 he was hired by the Houston Office of Johnson Controls as an Automation & Controls Technician / Application Engineer. He was later promoted to Project Manager / Interim Branch Installation Manager before finishing his tenure as Sales Engineer. Greg then moved to Convergentz in 2011 as a Project Manager and finished his tenure as Construction Sales Manager. Mr. Balentine joined the Beyond Controls Team where he directs and coordinates all departments.

Milton Sanders
Operations Manager

Operations Manager for Beyond Controls, Milton Sanders completed Industrial Instrumentation studies at San Jacinto College in 1979 and began an apprenticeship with Pipefitters Local 211 in Houston, Texas.  While serving the apprenticeship, he was involved in various industrial instrumentation and piping projects.  In 1982, he landed a position at Johnson Controls, Inc. as a pneumatic control system installer.  Bubba used his professional knowledge and strong work ethic principles to quickly progress through the ranks, becoming a project foreman, moving into DDC technical positions, and began a project management role in 1996.  Over the last 20 years he has managed controls projects on many high/mid-rise buildings, medical facilities, campus environments, data centers and industrial facilities in Houston and southeast Texas.  Mr. Sanders joined the Beyond Controls Team where he leads the operations and safety departments.

Lee Thompson
Technician Supervisor

After graduating High School in 1995 Lee served in the Army as a Combat Engineer. After his honorable discharge in December of 1998 he stepped into the electrical field doing shutdowns in various chemical companies.  In 2005 he became the Lead Electrician for the Building Division at Gulf States where he was over the installation of Siemens BAS systems for new and retrofit labs, control rooms and buildings. Lee became a technician for Siemens in 2009 where he learned the startup, sequence of operations, programming, and graphics side of automation systems.  With his knowledge, can do attitude and drive to be successful he found a lead technical position for Convergentz. There he did turnkey systems on mid/ high rise buildings, Hospitals, schools, and theaters. Mr. Thompson joined the Beyond Controls Team where he Supervises the Technicians and Coordinates Technical Standards.

Daniel Manser
Engineering & Technology Manager

Daniel studied Controls and Instrumentation Engineering Technology from the University of Houston -Downtown. He proceeded to work in the commercial controls industry as a controls technician for Convergentz, setting up servers for building automation systems. He was later promoted to project engineer, then soon became the engineering manager. As engineering manager, Daniel oversaw many large-scale projects for medical facilities, campuses, high/mid-rise buildings, and industrial facilities Nationally. Passionate about Engineering and Technology the move to Beyond Controls was a natural fit. With encouragement from friends and family, Daniel wanted to help start a new controls company. In his free time, Daniel loves to be outdoors. He also loves to volunteer at the local sports association helping coach kids that play baseball.  Mr. Manser joined the Beyond Controls Team where he leads the engineering and technology departments.
